Jurismus prepares to raise the Norwegian flag over congress 2023

The beautiful fjords of Norway will be discovered by Jurismussers in June

Young lawyers from across the Eurojuris network will have the opportunity to explore the land of the Northern Lights and some of its famous fjords this summer, with the announcement that Norway is host for the next Jurismus annual congress from 15th to 18th June 2023.

The conference is headed ‘Lawyers of tomorrow: enlighted by the midnight sun’ and the board of Jurismus are focused on working with Jonas Melander of Svensson Nøkleby Advokatfirma ANS to draw up the full agenda, which will be announced in March.

Jurismus president Sophie Hearle of Ashtons Legal in the UK said:  “We’re very excited to be going to Norway and are planning a series of workshops designed to help and inform young lawyers for the challenges they are going to be facing in the future.  Also, there will be plenty of opportunities for social networking, which will include a boat trip on the fjords.”

The main event will be in the capital of Oslo, but also the schedule will include a day of workshops hosted by Bjarte Røyrvik at his firm Svensson Nøkleby Advokatfirma ANS in Drammen, a city just outside Oslo.

Sophie added:  “We are very grateful to Bjarte for his help in putting the programme together.”

For those keen to have a sneak preview of the congress programme, this will be shared by Jonas Melander during an online event to be held on 16th March at 13.00 CET. It will also offer Jurismussers an opportunity to have their first catch up of 2023.

Jurismus is the network for lawyers under 40 with events held around Eurojuris member countries.   As well as the annual congress, a regular programme of webinars and online events are held, with new dates set to be announced in due course.
